Space Hulk - Churchbot and Cup

These are the markers from the Space Hulk box, nifty little things.  Since all of the terminators are finished, these two were next.
These are magnetized to sit on the bases, and the cup has a corresponding magnet on the sitting terminator corpse.  These were pretty easy/fast/fun to do. I would like to have these guys in my marker collection; does anyone have some for trade?
Until next round!

The Last of Them?

Wow, that was a journey.  Almost two sets of Space Hulk terminators all magnetized, converted and sent from the far East of Canada.
These termies sport the rather fashionable hazard striping accessorized with ample bling and some osl on the power weapons.
I'm quite happy to see these guys done.  Not only do I think they look cool, but it makes me that much closer to completion on this project (from the minis I have at least).
The second crusader's engines are rumbling...and I think a group shot might be in order.  Until next round!

More Black and Red

Back again with some Flesh Tearers!  Almost done all the terminators (well at the time of writing this I am done the terminators, two more to show!)  The first box is nearly completed.
I'm a little taken back by the amount and quality of the conversions on the second batch to differentiate all twenty of these guys given the static poses they started in.  Nice job Tristan!

 So...much...bling....

I love the missile launcher.  IMHO, the sentinel missile launcher is the coolest of all of them, so it gets hazard stripes (although I wanted to write "don't point at face" on it...)
Updates should be imminent, there are many things I should be taking pics of...
...until next round!

Space Hulk Flesh Tearers - Sanguine Terminator

Flesh Tearer progress continues with another cool conversion; the Sanguinary Priest.  Like the other medics, he gets a shiny white suit of armour.
 I really like the toolfist....
I noticed as I was going through the pics that some of them still need heraldry on their hip-guards.  Will fix that soon...
Three more termies are on the bench, box 1 is filling up....until next round!

Space Hulk Flesh Tearers - Chaplain

I really enjoyed this mini, although I am a fan of chaplains.  He was sent to me as part of the Flesh Tearers project, already converted!  All that was left was to give him a fitting paint job.
Black armour, a scattering of dark red, and a marble crozius. Check.
Until next round, keep painting!

Space Hulk Flesh Tearers - Librarian

Got to work on the Flesh Tearers, specifically, the librarian. It was nice to get away from the red for a bit.
I went with green for warp-stuff for two reasons. First; too much blue, it wouldn't be noticed. Second; to separate psychic energy from mechanical energy. He still has his fair share of red though.
Next up is the (first) Death Company, half done already!
Until next round.

Space Hulk Flesh Tearers - The Last Three (for now)

The last three of the 'regular' terminators, almost finished the marine half of the Space Hulk box (two markers and the librarian to go!) These guys were a lot of fun...
Mr. Lightning Claws, he's one angry chap.
..and from the back...
A look at his shiny claws...
This guy gets a lot of flak, Mr. Flamer.
Odd that the guy with the flame-thrower is the most covered in parchment, and it is all on the front.
The instrument of purification in question...
This guy really hates the floor, or really paranoid.
..from the back...
After the imminent convention, the libby and some death co. are next, until next round.

Space Hulk Flesh Tearers - The Next Three

Sometimes I find it difficult to keep the blog up to speed, these guys are a good example of that. They have actually been finished for a month now...
This chap is one of my favorites, "I am crushing your head!"
The 'nid bits are painting to match the 'stealers who were sent with these guys, I think I did pretty good.
The more osl I do, the easier it becomes.
Ah, the GPS-guy..
Still not sure what he is doing...
"There's a Starfort Coffee around the corner, and Brother Frank is there!"
And finally, the sergeant-like guy.
I love all the bling on these guys, have I mentioned that yet?
This project is still moving along, despite the GottaCon deadline approaching for some other projects. More soon, until next round.

Slow News Day

The guy in the chair from the Space Hulk box, still waiting for the serf to bring him a new roll...
But, he is finished! After taking these pictures I noticed that his robes/litany were too pale, so they have since been washed. Jokes aside, this was a fun model to paint with consistent details to the other terminators.
...still waitin'...
Until next round, be well.
