Flesh Tearers - Death Company

The hoard of Flesh Tearers grows with more not-red marines, this time it is the Death Company.
There is a lot of black on these guys, but I think all that bling livens it up nicely. And hazard stripes (of course!)

Some of them are lucky enough to have glowy bits...
These chaps will be riding in a LR crusader, which is built and ready for primer. It will complete the forward edge of the sawblade with the other one. I am thinking of inverting the black/red so the black is forward (with the 'x' on the hatches). Thoughts?

The unpainted pile is rapidly shrinking, but there is more on the way! More terminators, jumping death co. and a couple of dreads, yay dreaddies!
Also, my thanks to Tristan for sending over such dynamically-posed marines!

Until next round!

Faith, the Other Slayer

I wanted my second slayer to have a more dramatic pose, my first idea was to have her jumping over the dead man'o'war, but I decided to go with a pose associated with a dire troll.
Being the angrier slayer, I gave Faith larger tusks (taken from the plastic minotaur sprue).
I painted her the same as the other helljacks except for the gold. Instead of using my standard (dwarf bronze, shining gold, burnished gold, thrakka wash) I used the 'blighted' method (blighted gold, shining gold, thrakka wash, burnished gold). I think it looks much better.
Rawr!!
Until next time.

Flesh Tearers - Medic!

Progress on the Flesh Tearers fares well with the apothecary being finished. I would guess I am on a trend of not-red Flesh Tearers...
Like the librarian, I replaced the dark red with his designation colour, in this case white.
I snuck in some osl on the backpack...
Next up; Death Company. Until next round.

Why no posts?!

Here is why. Don't worry, I will get on the camera soon.....
